Chemic has been called "Engaging progressive thrash with a pinch of death metal" or "Jacked-up Iron Maiden-esque thrash" Mark "The Peso" Psencik, the mastermind behind Chemic calls it "Progressive Thrash/Grind Heavy Metal" Call it what you will, but Chemic combines elements from all of the genres, sub-genres, and sub-sub-genres of Heavy Metal, and even some inspiration from punk rock to create a totally new creature that adheres to no rules, with an extreme range from one fringe to the other.

Chemic is the brainchild of self-taught Guitarist/Vocalist Mark "The Peso" Psencik, who is also, currently, the sole proprietor. "The Fuck U.P. EP" which Mark "The Peso" wrote between the ages 15-17, at which point Mark suffered a near fatal automobile accident and had to teach himself to play the guitar FOR A SECOND TIME, due to the injuries he sustained, this time with considerable nerve damage to his left hand.
In 2012 The Peso started writing new music and recording demos that eventually turned into the Full-Length album called "Burning In The Fields of Glass." Released in 2013, most of the material was written in 2012 - 2013 except for the songs "Damn-Nation" and "War Of All Wars" which "The Peso" wrote in 2004.
